Molding:
Arm Bracer inspired by Ahsoka from
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
This project was a part of the Crafts in Costumes and Props class. For this project, I created an exact model of my forearm out of saran wrap, duct tape, and expanding foam. I then used this model to mold my Wonderflex. This model was very useful because it wouldn’t have been safe to use the heat gun over my own arm. I added a second layer of Wonderflex to my bracer for detailing. In addition to the wrist guard, I created a knuckle guard as well. I attached my two guards to a glove I had created.
